Local refugee government committee for Melkadida camp

Official camp leadership assists refugees dealing with challenges in partnership with UNHCR and ARRA, they function as informants and mediators between camp residents and external authorities, paying particular attention to security-related issues inside the camp, which they report to ARRA.
The meeting with the RCC working group was very useful to get to know the current problems and demands of the refugee community regarding water and food distribution, shelter, education, relationships with the local community, public infrastructures as well as transport and communication with other areas.
